Hello, I am creating a level by subscribing to Cargo for animation production in Unreal 5 engine. However, when I applied nanites to a building's static mesh, the mesh becomes distorted. I activated Direct 12, replaced the glass material with Unreal's glass material, and disabled virtual textures. But when I enable nanite triangle visualization, nothing is displayed. How can I use Nanite on cargo assets?

Wow man. i've been looking for something like this for ages? looks too good to be true. why are you so kind?
I've been trying to relink the textures for hours but to no avail. Neither with what was explained in the video, nor with the comment of the @Spancs below. It's amazing how such a simple thing becomes a thorn in the side, delays the work and makes us want to give up C4D and Octane and migrate to Blender, Unreal or any other better and less bureaucratic software. I had thought about subscribing to Kitbash3D Cargo, but I'm not going to because probably all models will have the same problem of losing the link with the textures.

Oo boy i can't wait for this game.. this man speaks with real love as a game designer Respect. Those bigger companies are only for the money, like the game developers from subnautica, days gone or the Ascent. My opinion those make better games because they want to deliver a good product not a product with many bugs. Keep up the good work 👏 i think this game will be a underdog.

These models are not designed with optimization in mind. You will have to create the LODs manually for games. 😑 😢
